Welcome to Kidani Village, the newest area
at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World. This resort features African-inspired artwork
and details throughout the lobby and guest rooms. Here’s a peek inside our Studio Villa that
we rented using Disney Vacation Club Points. It has a large bathroom complete with a full
bathtub, lots of countertop space, and separate area for the toilet. There’s also a kitchenette with a microwave,
coffee maker and a mini fridge. Our room had a queen size bed and full size
pull-out couch. Cribs and pack n plays are also available. But, the biggest draw is the Savannah View.
We had zebras and water buffalo right outside our balcony our first morning! Kidani Village has a lot of cool public areas. We met a cast member from Zimbabwe who talked
to my son about popular African sports while playing with him! There’s also a large arcade, perfect for
rainy days or just relaxing at the resort. And the community hall has plenty of toys,
games, and crafts to keep your kids occupied. Outside, there’s a fitness area right by
their pools. Kidani Village has an incredible water play
area featuring water cannons and splash pads in addition to their zero-entry pool, which
has a waterslide. But the coolest part of Disney’s Animal
Kingdom Lodge is the Savannah! Guides hang out in the public viewing areas to answer
your questions and talk about the safari animals. There’s really nothing like watching giraffes
walk right in front of you! Heading back inside Kidani Village, you’ll
find Sanaa. An upscale restaurant that now offers grab and go breakfast. For other easy food options, head inside their
gift shop. You’ll find bottled drinks, milk, cereal, snack foods, frozen entrees and more.
Plus, they have medicine, diapers, and baby supplies. It’s no wonder Kidani Village is one of
the most popular Resorts at Walt Disney World.
