Hi everyone this is Dena with Sunshine
and Rollercoasters. I’m here today with Morgan Mason and Mia. Mia’s kind of off
to the side – she’s kind of been camera shy today so today we’re gonna do a
little sensory bin. Some of you may know that Mason has sensory processing
disorder so he kind of likes to get in there and kind of fiddle with things so
when he was young we started kind of doing some sensory bins and with
the coronavirus and everything going on we thought that’s a good way to keep
him busy so today we’re going to go ahead and do kind of an earth earthy
science sensory bin so let’s get this set up then. This is like little sand
type like rocks and stuff right there’s Mason’s okay you can dump in a little.
Yeah when we get ready. Dump in a little bit of sand
you got to bring it back over here okay dump it in there all right
whoo don’t get it all over the place You can move it over there when you get when
you get your hands in it wait yeah yeah we have that’s why I get to
put the lid on it so that the cats don’t get in it they see these little snakes
and they might kind of get a little a little worried right might scared
Giselle. It’s all right Okay so the first thing that
we got is we some all of this stuff. We found all of this stuff at Dollar
Tree So we found some little snakes and then we found some little frogs so you
don’t have to put them all in there but you can put a few in there and kind of
move them around and play with them if you want here we put some put some rocks in there all their lizard yep oh that looks like
our lizards, doesn’t it all right. You don’t need to put any more in there
that’s a lot me. Yeah no more needs to go in there you’re gonna have too many in
there. Feel free to play around move
the sand whatever you want to do you could do that uh no this is this is
something different oh they do that one next huh Morgan’s asking about some little
play-doh toys that I had bought so I mean I guess she can kind of play with
them and here’s a butterfly if you want so Mason has decided that he wants to
continue playing with it. Mia has gone off she she didn’t want to keep it in the
box she didn’t like the idea of that so she’s decided now she doesn’t want to
play but Mason is playing and he’s using the shovel and everything. I
think once you get too much in here they just kind of get overstimulated and I
probably should have had one box for each kid me are you back you want to
play nicely okay well you keep it in the bucket, Okay the sand has to stay in the
bucket mm-hmm What do you want the little
person you can do those in there. Use the shovel and fill them up. What these
are the bananas you know. Fill up the banana with the sand. Did you put your
rocks in there there’s only a tiny bit here he wants more rocks yeah put them
in there this is probably more geared towards the younger generation Morgan is a little bored with this kind of thing. Mia likes things a certain way
don’t you Mia. Mia likes to play with things like that with our hands
Morgan would prefer to watch TV or play on a tablet or draw or something but I
guess it’s just the difference in age don’t get that sand all over your face
it might make your eczema worse here you want to IB that’ll work too okay all
right so you guys like playing in the sensory bin yeah next time we’ll do a
sensory bin for each one of you is that a better a better idea alright so all
these toys were found at Dollar Tree I think it cost me less than five dollars
to put all this together so anyway enjoy the video and be sure to
survive to our future videos we’re going to be doing an lol game in the next day
or so what we’re trying to come up with all kinds of activities to do during
this quarantine so anyway so coming up next will be the L.O.L. doll game and
they’ll be – LOL reveals so alright thanks for watching and be sure and
subscribe.
