– Hey guys I’m Melissa the
founder of prouddogmom.com and if you are looking for
healthy dog treat recipes that are bound to make your pup’s tail wag then you are in luck because today we are making turkey loafs. All you need is five
all natural ingredients and a few minutes for prep. I can’t wait to show
you how to make theses. Here’s what you’ll need. One pound of ground turkey. Use the leanest that you can find. Today I’m using 99% lean. You will also need half a
cup of pure pumpkin puree, not to be confused with
pumpkin pie filling. Half a cup of almond flour, half a cup of frozen peas and carrots. You do not have to worry
about defrosting them just use them frozen. And one large egg. So here we go. Simply mix all of your
ingredients together in a mixing bowl. It’s easy enough to mix with a fork but you can speed up
the process by diving in with your hands and
getting a little dirty. Next spoon your turkey
mixture into mini muffin tins. I greased mine today with coconut oil but you can also use olive oil. You really wanna pack
the mixture in there. Bake for 20 minutes at
350 degrees Fahrenheit. And here’s what they look like when they come out of the oven. Now before I feed them to my dog I make sure they are fully cooled and also I like to break
them into little pieces. Just makes it easier for the dogs to chew. I hope your dogs love
them just as much as mine. If you’ve made this recipe let
me know in the captions below and also don’t forget to give
this video a big thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. Enjoy.

Wonderful idea, thank you for sharing, my dogs love turkey and pumpkin anything. May I use coconut flour in this recipe? It’s what I usually have on hand. TY.
